Overview
Jude Badmington-Fowler is a Senior Lecturer on the BSc Social Work Programme and Post Qualifying Programme and the Programme Director for Post Qualifying Social Work. Jude is a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, Chair and member of the Academic Integrity Committee at Cardiff Met, a Fellowship reviewer and teaching advisor, and has previously undertaken the role of External Examiner.
Jude completed her BA Hons Degree in Sociology and Education at Warwick University in 1995 and a MA / Diploma in Social Work at University of London, Goldsmiths in 1999. Furthermore, Jude completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Social Work and a PCET at Cardiff University and holds a Post Qualifying Award for Practice Educating.
Prior to joining Cardiff Met, over the last 18 years Jude has been continuously involved in teaching within the social work arena and worked in academia for the last 11 years. Before this, Jude worked a Senior Social worker in Adult Services teams in both London and Cardiff.
